1. Open Source License & Free Use

Tiny Beacon is an open-source project. You are free to use, copy, modify, merge, publish, distribute, sublicense, and/or sell copies of the software under the terms of the project's license. There are no fees or subscriptions required to deploy and utilize this software.

2. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure, nor do we offer any Service Level Agreements (SLAs) regarding service availability, uptime, or data persistence.

3. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software.

4. Data Hosting & Storage

Tiny Beacon databases and server instances are hosted in data centers in Europe. We implement basic, standard security practices to protect database records; however, as this is a free and open-source project, you use the hosting service at your own risk.

5. Account Suspension & Availability

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, change application endpoints, or deprecate cloud services at any time without prior notice or liability. You are encouraged to self-host the backend services if your devices require continuous, guaranteed availability.
